Back to School Scavenger Hunt

Last year I found this great post by "Happy Home Fairy" about a School Supply Scavenger Hunt that she created. I printed out the Free Printables, picked up the supplies and the Sunday before School Started I hid all the supplies and clues for Hunter to find.

It was so fun to watch him figure out the clues and find the supplies. As he gathered the supplies he placed them in his backpack one by one and ran to the next clue. Once all full (and after I touch a bunch of pictures) we sat it by the front door! We are now ready for school!

All the clues were so cute but I especially loved the "Congratulations" sign she created at the end... "The most important thing you'll need for the whole school year is Jesus, the One who will fill you with cheer. He'll be with you every step of the way- And He'll guide you and bless you each and every school day".

SUPPLY LIST:
  • Box of Pencils
  • Box of Markers
  • Box of Crayons
  • Paper and a Composition Note book (We used the Composition Note Book throughout the school year to practice Hunter's Spelling Words in)
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
After you have those supplies ready. Go on over to the link below and scroll down about half way to print off your clues. She also has some great "lunch notes from Mom" that you can print off and sneak in their lunch.
